On a slightly more serious note...

Shooting someone for stealing from you, in the form of a bad business transaction, is definitely an overreaction. I could understand if she straight-out committed a robbery of him, and he fought with her resulting in her death, but that is far from the facts of this instance. The plumber analogy above is more reflective of this situation. It was definitely not a justifiable reason to use deadly force.... in my opinion. The hooker/monger business can be dangerous. If you are not treating people fairly, the danger can definitely be greatly increased.

I guess it would be a little difficult to take her to small claims court, but.....not the same, but slightly related, I once saw an episode of The People's Court where a guy sued an escort for not providing the service he paid for. He hired her for a long weekend, and then she just took the trip with him and never gave him any time between the sheets. He didn't win because the sexual expectations were never explicitly discussed in their contract negotiations.

Also once on Judge Judy, a woman gave her defense for not paying a loan as "he said I didn't have to pay it back if I had sex with him." Judge Judy said, "well, pick which one you want, do you want to repay him or have sex with him?" Awesome response! I love Judge Judy.
