After 5pm a few more girls will come in but most of the girls are looking for work at other clubs as they're not making any money. The club is very nice and has a different feel to it than the typical GC. They run tease dances for $5...basically the girls are clothed and hop in your lap at your table, the real dances are $25 in the VIP room and management takes a substantial chunk out of their money as its pay up front.

let's see now?????

why I haven't bothered following-up on either of these places!!..
lesser the crowd...more the prowl.....girls are more likely to have a more open experience when the cash flow is not coming through. will be interesting to see what goes on...when other one opens...
What time does Some Beach open at? Passed by yesterday and it looked closed around 2:30 Originally Posted by firedog1000

Having chatted with the bartender, I learned that there would be entertainment later in the evening; so I hung around. It didn't hurt that beers were going for $4 each; we'll see how long these prices hold.

Things began to pick up ~7:40; that's about the time K**, one of the dancers, dropped by my table to chat and subsequently help me drain my wallet in the lap dance area, where 3 long leather couches are arranged in a "U" config.

A little about K** to put subsequent discussion about the club in perspective -- Incredibly beautiful: Tall, with long blonde hair, magnificent toned body, natural C cups, NO tats anywhere! Her claims of having a clientele of doctors, lawyers, etc. are entirely believable.

She confirmed that Sugar's and Some Beach are under the same ownership; the owners opened Some Beach, she said, as an upscale alternative to Sugar's, which has become "ghetto" (her words).

When I asked why so dead before 7:30, she replied that Grand Opening -- set for the 1st Fri. in May -- has not yet taken place.

Get this: Although K** and a number of Sugar's top-of-the-line dancers went to work at Some Beach at the owner's request, when K** told Sugar's management of her decision to move next door -- having already informed her clientele -- Sugar's management was pissed, and has treated her as a traitor. (Apparently the owners may have created the proverbial "house divided against itself.")

Having gone out to the Valero ATM to re-load my wallet, I returned to meet C***, another blonde, well-toned, unblemished sweet thang who alternates between the SA Men's Club and Some Beach: physical proof that the latter is trying for an upscale image.

Whether by coincidence (due to the preferences of the line-up of dancers that evening) or deliberate design, the music was very much to my liking -- a lot of Euro techno pop and oldies (such as ZZ Top's "Sharp-Dressed Man").

Shortly before I left, there were a couple of girls doing -- or should I say trying to do -- a synchronized dance around the brass pole on the main stage. They kept getting tangled up with each other; if they ever get their moves worked out -- whoa!

I did not realize there was a VIP section upstairs; may check that out on a subsequent visit. May also check out the menu; when I arrived, the bartender mentioned that the kitchen was open, but I'd already snarfed down dinner before doing my recon.

Let my hands roam a bit - there was a guy outside (employee), but didn't seem like he cared what when on inside, and never came back to ask for $$ upfront. Then again, might have just hit the quiet time before the up-front policy goes into effect.

They have a hot tub outside and according to the owner he is seriously considering putting in a small pool as well. I have met a few of the dancers. There is one in particular J%$$^ who is very friendly. She informed me of many activities that could be had in the VIP area upstairs as well as the dance area downstairs. I will be there for the grand openingand if the plans that owners have come to fruition, it will be my new favorite club.
