I'm not a "Republican," but like a lot of disenfranchised Democrats (due to the SocialistLiberal leanings of the DNC and the corruption of the Clintons et al) I've voted for "Republican Presidential candidates who I believe will be moderate .... like Trump. Although he's no "Lincoln" IMO, he has managed to FREE a lot of minority from the intrusive stranglehold the DNC has had on them in order to FORCE them to vote for DNC candidates by threatening to have their "entitlements" severed if they vote "Republican" .... and Trump IS DOING IT by increasing job opportunities FOR ALL MINORITIES ....

Lincoln killed a lot more Americans than Hitler. There’s a small cemetery in Texas littered with the remains of my relatives who died during the Civil War. None to my knowledge were slaveholders. If Lincoln had rid the country of the scourge of slavery without dragging us through the bloodiest war in American history, then yes, it would be a travesty that a large % of Americans view Trump more favorably. But that’s not what happened.
