For so many, many reasons but for this particular vent I want to focus on their ordering system. I had never seen a store so inept at keeping things on the shelves stocked. I went last Friday and this Saturday and they are still out of the same items I need. My local one went 4 months out of my favorite Roast Beef. I asked about it several times and then just stopped shopping there. Finally 4-5 months later I ran into the deli manager and I asked WTF. She looked at her little hand held device and said it said she had 4200 in stock so it wasn't ordering any. Apparently many items are self ordered and they don't seem to notice how many of them are missing on the shelves. Over the years I've been told that about many out of stock items. Anyway she says she'll make sure to get some it, couldn't notice on her own that an item was missing for 4-5 months and had to be told by a former customer.

PATHETIC

I have many various types of vents in my home. There's the usual. Air conditioning/heating vents. Most of these are mounted in the ceiling, although the one in the hallway comes out of the top of the wall. There's the water heater vent in the bottom portion of the water heater closet door in the garage. There's also this funny little vent over the stove. I think some people call it a hood. It helps pull the smoke out of the kitchen when I'm burning things. Like bacon. There's a series of small vents on my car, that also blow hot or cold air on me during the various seasonal changes.

I think that's all the vents I have for this thread. I'm not sure why you find this useful. Just wanted to participate.

Hotel Lobby bathrooms, always clean and rarely used from my experience. Mid-range hotels are the best.

If you ever live there or even just visit and look closely you will find that people are urinating in passage ways, on walls, house corners, streets, rest areas.
Another problem is that usually restaurants won't let you use their restrooms unless you are a customer and shops usually only allow employees to use them (but it's easy to convince them, trust me !!).

Ever driven on the Autobahn and stopped at a rest area? Look around where people do their business instead of paying the 50c or 1 EUR.

And some European countries are better than others.

So yes restrooms in Europe are on average cleaner, but only because fewer people use them. Go into an open to the public, no charge restroom in Europe (if you find one) and take a good look on your next trip.

as a matter of fact I did travel via Autobahn from Amsterdam to Berlin back to Brussels and the one Rest Area, no charge, we did stop at was very clean no piss all over the seat.

I would buy something then ask to use the restroom, , a bottle of water, and snack what ever it was,, we had to pay at all the Shell Stations and Gas stations along the way, those were very clean. the train stations were clean

I have only ventured to Western Europe, Ireland, UK, France, Belgium, Germany and Holland.

I lived there half my life, traveled to almost all the countries, and may be I am just more critical of my former fellow Europeans and look way too critical at them.

They sure do need our $$$ now, so yes, it's all good, please spend your time and $$$ over there (and the Eros houses - clean restrooms there as well) !!!

Why don't people merge over or slow down or speed up when one is trying to get onto the freeway or expressway in this town?! If it's clear move it! That's how it works! I'm pretty sure directional signals come with all vehicles as well, it's not supposed to be a secret that you're changing lanes!! Are they just not teaching this anymore? What's with the going slow in the fast lane?! This town is full of folks DWIAC! Driving while in a coma! Wake the &$#!*# up and move your ass! The lights been green since yesterday! Geez Louise! You don't have to speed at least go the speed limit and pay attention!!!

Just hate the self appointed speed monitors in the left lane going down the interstate and everyone is bottlenecked behind them. It's the long pedal on the right. Please use it or kindly move into one of the lanes on the right.
