A significant characteristic of those movements is that there is an army of propagandist that explain, manipulate, justify, and provide cover for the relatively small portion of the movement that does violence and personal intimidation.

Notably, you never see a Republican attempt to justify the kkk or like organizations. If individuals harassed your daughter, and tried to break down your front door while trespassing ono your property, You would be screaming about it.
