Bubba,

So when guys like FWOG agreed to create and post a review in exchange for a session, that would clearly fall under the definition that Shysterjon provided in your post even though no money ever changed hands. Originally Posted by LazurusLong

In other words, it's highly unlikely the DA would pursue a case against a provider when the only fee was a review.

Even looking at the DPD site where they show a lot of names of people cited for that, how many actually bother to get an attorney and fight the citation?

I'm guessing it is a numbers game and for a huge percentage of citations, the vast number do not fight it. They pay the ticket and get back to work ASAP. So the DA has plenty of time and resources to present something like that to prove a point and especially in an election year, the inclination to make headlines that shows they are doing SOMETHING about what society thinks of as a scourge against society and women.

SJ,

I don't have the experience of dealing with those who have been cited so I am not sure.

Take an LMT who gets popped when she touches the dick of an undercover cop, what would she typically be cited for?

Or those who get lured into stings like were happening in the lead up to the Super Bowl. What would they be cited for as long as there were no additional charges?

If you are at the point of arguing semantics of the law on prostitution, you have already reached a point where your family, your career, and your future are probably in a bit of a pickle.
