Regulars?

Thanks for all the responses. It's great to get opinions from both sides.
Another question...Maybe it has already been answered and I didn't catch it (still drinking my coffee).
If you have someone that is Grandfathered into an older rate, how long would it take for a break it visits before they are no longer grandfathered? Come on GP you should be able to answer this...LMAO! At this point you may need additional screening!

Seriously I beleive if you raise your rate once and Grandfather in old peeps then they should get that until you raise it again!!
To me a gent becomes a regular after meeting me several times and continues to do so on a regular basis. I do give regulars discounts, if you want to call it that. For example, I may stay an extra 30 minutes. So for regulars, my discount is usually in time, not dollars. I think that if you do have a regular who posts reviews, the communication level between you both should be open enough to where he understands that any discounts posted, should be specified. It should be made clear, to avoid any confusion that the rate specified was a "regulars discount."

-As far as granfathered rates, once I grandfather a rate it stays that way for good. However, I suggest going with your gut instinct because no one can tell you what to charge for your time but YOU. If you still feel comfortable performing at a specific rate, then great. If not, then I would change it. I remember one time I had to change a granfathered rate because it was so low to begin with and the gent was not respectful of my time at all. So under that situation, I did increase my rate slighty, it was still much lower than my hourly rate, but $30 higher than the grandfathered rate. So every situation is different. But usually, if I grandfather a rate, I try to keep it at that rate.

Just be gentle on me with the additional screening. I am getting old ya know.
