For most people who earn a high level of income, a comparable level of higher education is implied. Today, that means a Master's or Doctorate degree. Additionally, there is a certain amount of hard work and moving up the ranks to get to that income level. Amelia - very nice points. I do think that more is being made out of the " Appreciation Day" than what is actually being asked. Let me just say part of the question was more rhetorical for wake-up. He thinks he's winning some argument by venting at my "feedback and audacity" which caused him to actually think about his responses while at the same time claiming victory in the argument. I used to be an internet troll King so all fine by me. Lol. My basic point is that generally speaking we live in a free market society (minus market manipulations another topic) and compensation is given based on the free market regardless of how many years of schooling one may have. Brain and Heart surgeons make far less than top athletes and movie stars, soldiers (who make the ultimate sacrifice) barely get by and all we want to do is honor them with awards and medals but not more pay.
