We may not be hearing from one of our friends after yesterday.

You do live in a small world!

While the race baiters and mongers are reporting the shooter's KKK connections, they are reporting Obaminable and HoldemClose whining about them being "challenged" in their fiefdom for being Black!

You think what is posted in here is "news"? Originally Posted by LexusLover

so no one should know about this crime....in order to report the news event the asshole will be mentioned...talked about...probed....prodded from every angle....maybe people can learn from this about the hate that exists in this country...
aside from that you and j.d. need to take sensitivity training....so far you've both made fools of yinz self..... Originally Posted by stevepar

Over 24 hours have passed and I have time to respond. My original comments were ONLY about some of the antisemitic remarks made on this website by members of the left (never members of the right). They sound a lot like the murderous jackass would make.

To one person, get your facts straight. This jackass is a klansman and not a Nazi. One is a racist democrats and the other is a racist socialist....ummm, maybe they are both the same thing now.

I never brought politics into this discussion.

I can't believe TEX has never heard of this http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1689471.html

but going off the ABC link, we know that this jackass was a klansman but we don't know what political party he was is a part of which leads me to believe democrat. Face it, if he was a registered republican it would be all over the news by now. Kind of like that other moron out in Arizona. Once we know where he was coming from the media kind of moved on about his motivation. Originally Posted by JD Barleycorn

Sensitive aren't we. I think the reason someone mentioned that it was not a tea party member is that tea party people are often labeled fanatics. In fact, after several of the mass shootings the media has tried to imply that maybe Rush Lembaugh was to blame or Fox news. Sorry, but most of the wackos and violent types sprout from the left side of the political spectrum. The fact is that not all democrats are wacko killers and very few conservatives are violent even though we believe in peace through strength. The facts are that more violence occurs when your enemies perceive you as weak. It is going to take a long time to right the ship after Obama if that can be done at all. We live in a violent world and this latest incident proves that. It wasn't the fault of either political party. Yet, both sides get defensive here. Let us wise up and discuss what we have in common. No one wants things like this to happen.

Sadly, there are some people who look forward to events like this. The Bloomberg anti-gun group has been set up to respond to any gun shooting event. They are ready to push their agenda while standing on the backs of the dead and wounded.

In this case, it looks like the dumb bastard killed a couple of innocent Methodists, and no Jewish people. So it is, at best, an attempted hate crime in addition to three counts of murder.
jewishlawyer....
why not look up the definition of a hate crime....
I can't believe you're willing to give this guy a pass on a hate crime....the guy was a grand dragon or some other high level mucky muck in the clan....he constantly made serious anti jewish statements....adored adolph hitler and his "final solution"to kill all the jews....
you're actually the anti jewish lawyer....

Well, conservatives have traditionally not been supportive of hate crime legislation. We don't care about someone's motivation, we care about the act. What does it serve society that if someone kills someone or if the hate the group that their victim belongs to. Murder is murder. Using the hatecrime legislation serves two bad purposes; it allows the powers that be single out certain people for greater punishment (not all hate crimes are murder) and it allows the powers that be to reduce sentences on people because it was not a "hate" crime.

Note George Zimmerman, they wanted a hate crime charged against him because the perp was black and the shooter was white....errr. hispanic...ummmm a white hispanic. I had a relative raped and murdered by two black men down in Tennessee but they were not charged with a hate crime. She was white and they were the victims because they were black.

This is Kansas and I expect this guy will be found guilty of a capital crime and sentenced to death. Why would a hate crime charge change any of that?

it is hard to believe that some of you are arguing that this is not a hate crime....

jewish lawyer....
you should convert to a religion where jews are hated....it would seem to fit you better than your judaism does....

So, if it had been a random shooting instead of a targeted shooting, would it be classified a "like" crime?
