Quid pro quo

So much hostility and name calling on this thread. If you don't want people's opinions, don't start a fucking thread asking for their opinions. Yeah, I know, you claim you didn't ask for a review, but your posts make your feelings pretty clear: clients who ask for okays but don't do reviews are non-contributing trolls. Does that sum it up? I've see Abigail and have yet for her to ask for a review........ and she gave me an ok.

I don't think she asks for reviews and I'm not certain she even cares about them.
I don't care to get an OK on p411. Hell my last OK was over a year ago and I do book via p411.

P.S.-I don't need an Okay afterward, I already know I'm awesome... Originally Posted by Wakeuр

I do not like doing reviews anymore for a few reasons:

1. It takes time to write one.
2. I'm lazy
3. Sometimes the reviews get pretty repetative.
4. Had a girl throw it in another girl's face that I wrote a review of her.

But since you brought it up....

Most often means a more or less equal exchange or substitution of goods or services. English speakers often use the term to mean "a favor for a favor"....

I was having a conversation with a client, whom booked with me off of P411, and had ample "OK's". We got onto the discussion of "reviews" here on ECCIE, and he was very adamant about "I don't post reviews, PERIOD"....

Got me to thinking... I have been hounded for days by clients wanting me to "ok" them on P411... and I have logged on and done so. (In particular by the said client mentioned above!!) Full well knowing that if I asked him to do me the same favor by posting a review, I would be told NO. I have plenty of reviews, but what if I wanted to "freshen the stats" so to say, with a new review? So, now I am feeling like the Quid pro quo is lacking a little.....

Does this happen often to others? Or even, the other way around? Do some providers hold out on giving "OK's"? Is it really a UTR thing? (like your wife won't find out about P411, but will see a review and know it's you) Or, is it just lazy? Originally Posted by Abigail (Source of JOY)

Exactly!
From my understanding she didn't verbally ask, but wanted to ask but already knew the answer
so she figured she'd hold out on giving an OK.
Atleast that's how i understood it from what she wrote

I dont ask for reviews. I have reviews and have been around long enough to have established myself (both bcd and on the board). At this point, if anyone chooses to write a review it is solely for their benefit (on this free board, where men gain premium access without paying for it).

It really is a shame that someone cant post a thread that is a legitimate topic and it not turn to this... yes, I said Mental Giants, and I will stand by that still... because in my opinion it takes very little knowledge to be nothing but argumentative and closed minded instead of being open minded and discussing something other than whale watching and "Im leaving" threads. Personal attacks on me or other posters bring nothing to this thread.

Mods... feel free to close...

And to answer your question about providers holding out on giving OKs, they can't unless there are legitimate reasons for her to withhold, i.e. short/stiff on the donation, harassment, violence, etc. Any time a provider has flaked on the OK, I've emailed the staff at P411 and they've disabled her account until she gave it. To the OP- I totally get what you're trying to say... I don't ask for reviews anymore, but if hypothetically I did, and the guy told me no, then I would prob tell him that's fine, but if you can't be bothered to review me, then don't expect me to be bothered to go out of my way to OK or Whitelist you...If a guy refuses to review after being asked to, then has the audacity to ask me to whitelist him or whatever, I find it very cheeky.

What if you asked for a review and he said no but didn't ask for an ok, would you still give him one or would you still not give it cause you didn't get a review?
I generally only give OKs if they are requested..
