Things that pissed you off (in the hobby)

When she shows up at my highrise somehow "not right" in the head, rumpled (not smellin' so nice), stumbling about in the middle of my Living Room and slurring her words while going on and on about how her b/f (insert "pimp") isn't "treating me right" and then gets pissed when I refuse to do anything with her other than showing her thru the condo security gates. After she refused to leave unless I gave her half the "fee" and passed out on my leather sofa (never could figure out how to remove the drool stain) me and my buddy loaded her in his car and dropped her off at the central police station. Sure hope the police kept Lysol and Febreze on hand!

Last minute cancellations can be frustrating certainly, but life is full of that sort of thing.

Honestly, in the few years I've been involved both here and on the old board, it's the attitude some people have that pisses me off.

The folks who think they know what everyone else is "really" thinking and proceeds to post their "expert" opinion.

The folks who look down on ladies who charge less and gentlemen who see them, and vice versa, the gentlemen who post the "not worth it" comments if a reviewer paid more than the average.

Hearing about members threatening bad reviews or promising good ones in exchange for "special" deals or services (this is why I quit writing reviews on the old board after number 13 and never started here).

Guys (and gals) getting bashed for wanting to either do free or charge for photography. I don't agree with posting casting calls for free photography to compete with the pros, but when folks do they don't deserve to be called "creepy" or accused of simply wanting to "see some" or "get some" for free, like other hobbies, some people really do this without expecting payment. Often it's the GWP's who call them GWC's (in a derogatory fashion).

It pisses me off when people take this all too seriously, it's entertainment first and foremost, it is at least partially illusion. But please, keep it theatrical without making it into drama. It's a show that the audience of one (usually) becomes a part of for a short period of time, it's the ultimate theater in the "round". You don't have to convince me that you look forward to seeing me, but at least try to make me think you don't mind.

And finally, anyone here who thinks they are "better" than the rest of us, really, really pisses me off.

Alright, I have a good hobby story. It's kinda sad, but true.

I was in Novosibirsk, Russia dating a woman I met on the internet. (I know....kinda crazy) After 8 days, I absolutely had to get away from this woman but I knew no one in the city and I could not speak or read Russian at all. I didn't know where to go or what to do. So I found a friendly taxi driver near the hotel, slipped him a 20 and asked him if he could find me a girl for the evening.

We drove around for a long time and I was a little worried I was going to get rolled...especially when we ended up in a back alley parked on the side of the road. Then, a black Mercades SUV showed and the driver beckoned me to wait.

He came back with three girls who were young and fairly attractive. The cost for each girl was $35 for the night. I chose the exceptionally tall blonde with short hair and off we went.

She asked if we could stop by the liquor store before heading back to my hotel. I paid for a large bottle of vodka for her (I don't drink) and she started in on that bottle hard and heavy while we were driving back to the hotel.

So we're back at the hotel getting it on when I notice her right arm for the first time. Her forearm is basically a 45 degree hook that jutted out about 6 inches..it looked like a boomerang. For the rest of the night, I couldn't stop looking at her arm...it was so disgusting that lil Charlie kept shriveling up everytime I saw it.

By the time we got done with round one, she was so hammered by the Vodka, she couldn't walk. She passed out shortly thereafter and it took an act of God to get her to leave the hotel the next day. It was sad, really...and I never found out how she broke her arm or why she was in the situation she was in. (she spoke almost no English) Had I known, I probably wouldn't have picked her up to begin with. But I was new to the hobby as well, so I just made the best of a bad situation.

1. Guys that presume they speak for the rest of us,
2. Fake or embellished Reviews,
3. Fake and/or photoshopped pictures,
4. What two consenting adults do BCD is a crime, and
5. I didn't stumble in to the Hobby until this time last year; if I had only known about the Hobby 20-years ago I could have been close to finishing my Fuckit List.
