Ok so Rollin Smoke is my #1. Brisket is smoked versus the stew style they do at Mulls. Rib tips are fantastic and the sausage has an outstanding kick.

Next visit will be for the BBQ meatloaf.

Brisket was great but the highlight of the meal was the hotlinks. Housemade is my understanding and they are outstanding! Something new was the side of hushpuppies...excellent. Love the atmosphere there too!

Funny we went back yesterday too. Makes my need to have BBQ when I next visit TX not so high on the list.

Not sure about all the Razorback decor there...but now I keep thinking about those hot links!

At least it isn't Longhorn or Aggie decor

Razorback is not a whole hell of a lot better!
OK, no trade, no open carry (doesn't matter, TX chl has no reciprocal in NV) and North Las Vegas sucks. Learned a lot here. I won't bring briskets, but I did pick up 4 packs of bacon jerky for the trip.
Ok, tried Lucilles. Pretty good though I like Rollin Smoke better.
I'm just grateful my home food has an awesome spot, well two, out here. Crab corner! Thank goodness I wasn't raised on BBQ.. Love, love, love it, but goodness gracious.. Crab is way less fattening.
Going to be spending some time here and need to get the lowdown on some top quality BBQ. I love a good smoked brisket and so far haven't found anything that compares to Texas.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The open carry was sort of a joke. But good info nonetheless.

When I did the research for the NLV place I realized I know exactly where it is. Friend took me there but they were closed. Been in DDD and Food Network. That place just shot up to #1 on the list for sure.

CC I love burnt ends, just hard to compare Memphis BBQ to Salt Lick and the like back home.

Now to post a BBQ thread in San Diego.

One thing is for sure, you people are funny. Not a single comment about BBQ on a SHMB. This ain't Dallas CO ED no more. Originally Posted by Boltfan

I'm fine with going to Lucille's. I love their cinnamon butter that you can put on the biscuits they give you before your order arrives.
