How lucrative is providing?

Damn Marley, I've always had a hair stylist fantasy for years! There is something so relaxing and tingly about a woman cutting your hair and pressing/ leaning over in front of you with her cleavage during the process. Originally Posted by Austinfunandfit

Ill give ya a wet one anytime, for the time being lol.

For me providing is costly. I don't live in a metro area so I am always having to get hotels. I spend about 900 a week on hotels and gas. I mainly travel so the amount of appointments I need is double to cover the bills and travel expenses. Their is also the cost of advertisements. If you count the hours that I email, answer phones, and contact references I work about 60 hrs a week sometimes. But I love the freedom! I am able to do things with my friends and family. I can travel home whenever I need to. Its great!

Some weeks are very stressfull and others are like these past two weeks where I relaxed at home.

I tried to make a living by providing. As you can see, I am back to paying for my pleasure....
It's kinda lucrative in a monetary sense...I know damn well there's no other job I could do and make 4-12k a month in my personal experience but it's not like it gives you any stability...hookers in the US don't get a 401(k) and medical insurance for example and it's not like you can put "I have a great reputation in the sex for pay industry" on most resumes. I keep telling myself I should set up an IRA but other things always come up. In the long run working at mcdonald's and sticking with it until you make district manager or something will probably lead to a more stable drama free life than being an escort-which is the ultimate point of making money right?

Sometimes it's chicken salad and sometimes it's chickenshit. But there's ALWAYS chicken involved!

Been self-employed for a LOOOONG time and it never get any easier. But I wouldn't trade it for the world. OK, maybe for the world. Maybe for Switzerland...
You make an excellent point. I think sometimes the secrecy and "fantasy world" aspect of being an escort gets me carried away from the fact that it is an actual business and I have to take more personal responsibility to arrange things for my future etc.

One can be an escort and be totally drama free by not getting involved with hooker boards, not getting involved with boards and......... not getting involved with hooker boards LOL. Oh and not going to meet and greets, not ripping off their clients, treating their clients like a king without playing on their feelings... and lots more. Just gotta know who you're dealing with I guess. The only drama I've had in this business is on the internet/here on eccie. Thankfully it never affected my business being in the carolinas nor did it affect my personal life. I joined this board on November 21st before that I was board free. I would advise any newbie provider not to join a hooker board. A very reputable provider told me once that my personality was not for hooker boards. I did not listen to her. I joined anyway. Now I see what she was talking about lol.
