at the shine pro and have it done in the pit room for 200$ allday price. Originally Posted by LustyBustyGina38FF

The average cost of a car detailing session is $175. But, the cost usually ranges between $99.95 to $400 depending on the experience and quality of your auto detailer and the detailing skill he or she possesses and the time it takes in washing, waxing, drying and getting your car’s shine on and any goo off your ride.

The labor-intensive process, specialized equipment and products, skill and expertise, and location all contribute to the higher cost of detailing. However, it's important to remember that the cost of detailing is an investment in the pleasurable outcome and value of your provider’s skills in polishing your knob.

Of course there are some that try to get off by spending only $32; these folks tend to expect a lot more service for a sub market fee and may find that their ride gets scratched by lower quality detailing tools and implements. Many times rags will be reused hundreds of times and you’re not really sure where these polishing cloths have been or what contaminants may lurk hidden in the car detailing supplies. Caveat emptor!

You decide to control the detailing quality by owning your own shop. You go all in, and you buy, leverage, and work hard to get everything just perfect. Then one day, about 6 months to 10 years in, this guy rolls in with an early 90s Dodge caravan with scrapes, dings, dents, mud on the tires, plastic water bottles of all shapes and sizes littered everywhere. You set him up with the 99.95 special, do a fairly good job. The guy throws 32 bucks at you, grabs the keys, and spins out of your parking lot. You throw your full can of coke and nail the minivan as it hits the street. Suddenly the detailing business ain’t all its cracked up to be and you’re rethinking everything including selling the business. Sh*t! Mudder F*cker!

I have serious doubts about the length of this marriage if things continue in this manner. Originally Posted by NordicJag

This “ discussion “ between them is about control. He is telling her to do something that is her possession and it has nothing to do with outside or inside. In a regular playful marriage she would say, “ well if you want it cleaned so badly…you do it and maybe mommy will give daddy’s pipes a cleaning after”.
But they are already passed that point ( after only 9 months) so she just needs to say, nope not cleaning it but if it’s important to you feel free. And then ( this is key) go silent say no more because the control freak will then want to elevate into an argument. Originally Posted by michaelrayab

These newlyweds are going to have to figure this issue out amongst themselves, many more things gonna be coming at them. You can’t grow as a person if you don’t work through difficulties. The struggle for control has emerged, they either come together as a couple and work through it or start growing apart and so soon too. Originally Posted by arañanegra

The struggle for control in a relationship is easily dealt with.
That answer is simple.
Harris County Courthouse, Family case filing fees, 2023, pages 8&9.
I heard a saying a while back that said, “I don’t care how hot a girl is or how good the sex is with her, there’s some guy out there that’s tired of her bullshit.”
Another saying I heard went like this “don’t marry the one you love, marry the one that loves you.”

Sorry I've been MIA from my thread ... it's always interesting to get lots of points of view. I appreciate all the responses. Hopefully they can get past this little dispute.
So who ended up washing her vehicle?

Me. I own a small detail shop which is why I found this topic interesting.

Ok Brooke, but who paid?

Disclaimer on my prior post #7:
I no longer wash ECG's Z06, it's going to the Auctions end of next week.

I wonder what they will do when the vehicle needs next wash? It’s really simple, just go to one of the many drive through car wash shops in the city, some even have free use of vacuums. What happens when a more important issue arises? Or was this a hypothetical situation?

Sounds like a divorce is in the near future.

Sounds like it will be a dirty car again soon. B - did you armorall the leather and DEEP inside the orifices? I like it smooth and shiny!

Looks like the POLE is a tie. Do you have any photos of your friend? I have not voted so I could break the tie that binds. Then wash her cat again. Of course I would lick it clean.
