This happened to me before. The lady gave me a better rate (less by 3 to 5 hundred) than she had for her other reviewers. But told me not to write the review well before we met.......

If she was anything less than stellar when we met I would have wrote the review.......but since she was good and very talented I kept my trap shut. As long as I get mine...........

Simple fact: Many providers perceive that if it is known they see AA men that some of their clients will go elsewhere. Is it racist ... Yes. It is what it is. There is no conspiracy, just business.

So, another NBA thread, and I'm still no closer to understanding the rationale behind the policy. Perhaps I never will, and I'm fine with that. I've had very few AA hobbyists approach me over the course of my time in the hobby. I can only assume this has to do with the way I portray myself. Everyone who has sought me (regardless of race), with very few exceptions, has been intelligent, classy, and respectful. I'm fairly sure that intelligence is not affected by skin color, either. I have no problem discriminating based on intellect. Correspondence is an excellent indicator of that. As far as I'm concerned, discrimination based on the color of someone's skin is a sure sign of the lack thereof.

There is such a thing as preference, of course. I prefer Whovians and Browncoats. That doesn't mean I'm going to get them on a regular basis; if I were to exclude everyone that did not match my preference, my bed would get very lonely, and I would miss out on meeting some fascinating individuals.

In the end, I do believe a woman's review policy should be respected if she has one. If she doesn't want to see certain men, for any reason, that should be respected, too. No one has to agree with it but the gents who choose to see her.
