Men with political power, fame etc., will spend $$$$$ for high dollar ladies and get zero blowback. Trump paid Stormy Daniels $300k and it didn't keep him out the White House. A regular guy spending $300 would get arrested and have his life ruined.
The laws only exist to control "regular" men and our sexuality. They don't give a damn about trafficking. That's just a good cover to generate widespread support. Going after providers is less popular now so using honeypots to get men is the wave.
