It is actually flattening if you understand exponential growth - in early March, the number of confirmed cases was doubling every 2 or 3 days, toward late March, it took 6 days to double the number of confirmed cases, and in April the number of cases doubled in 12 days. We're on track for the next doubling to be greater than 12 days. So, yes, the rate of growth has decreased. I am sure the numbers are higher now but unless you are in the higher risk groups ( over 65 or with a compromised immune system) there is very little too worry about. Outside of those groups the mortality rate is lrss than 1% comparable to the flu. Be safe , practice proper hygiene and enjoy life is you are not in those groups of hight risk people!
