However, luckily the Republicans saw the wisdom at the time of some across the board government spending cuts and so sparked economic recovery after 2010. From that point forward Obama's efforts were stymied and the anemic growth began to take hold continuing through the Republicans taking the Senate and then the POTUS, where with Trump's elimination of burdensome regulation, the economy continues to soar.

Thanks again President Trump and Republicans everywhere from 2010 on!!!
Domestic Markets at all time high! Low inflation! Full employment!

All this while Democrats are telling our foreign adversaries "Don't make a deal. Wait for regime change." Despicable.

The solid economy is doing little to bolster support for President Donald Trump.

Americans give Trump mixed reviews for his economic stewardship despite the growth achieved during this presidency, according to a new survey by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

Nearly two-thirds describe as “good” an economy that appears to have set a record for the longest expansion in U.S. history, with decade-long growth that began under Barack Obama. More people consider the economy to be good today than did at the start of the year.

But significantly fewer approve of Trump’s handling of the economy, even as it remains a relative strength compared with other issues. The survey indicates that most Americans do not believe they’re personally benefiting from his trade policies. And only 17% said they received a tax cut, despite government and private sector figures showing that a clear majority of taxpayers owed less after the president’s tax overhaul passed in 2017.

In the past, there has been almost a perfect correlation between the economy and the president's approval rating. When the economy is perceived to be strong, as it is today, the president's approval rating is high. Not under Trump. There must be other factors involved as to why Trump's approval rating remains in the low 40s. Care to speculate on those reasons?

Economy did well under Obama.

How many of you voted for him as a result?

Trump has added more jobs, more stock market gains, but it is a continuation of what Obama had started years before.
