Great thread, but there are at least two topics going on here, as I follow things. Those two are dominance/submissiveness and pain. To be sure, they're related, but they are two different realms.
I've topped and I've sub'd, and REALLY enjoyed both. Back in the day, I'd have said I'm basically a sub; now I'm not so sure. Which is only to say that we evolve in the dark realm as in other respects.
But what hasn't changed is my enjoyment of being hurt, especially nipple play and CBT (oddly, or not, you can't please me by inflicting pain on my back door.) The list goes on, but this is not about me. But where it works, it's the best of all turn-ons.
And I also find that many providers who truly get into sessions do so when I prompt/'force' [no one EVER does anything they don't want to do] them to extend their abuse of me.
