As DG mentioned a number of us were duped awhile back by the "Sensual Sisters" who in reality was probably some middle-aged man still living in his Mom's basement. I don't think anyone was out any $, etc. but you tend to take someone more seriously, even on a message board, if you know there is a legit person behind the avatar.

As for Alex, I asked the question more out of miild curiousity than anything else. If she wants to hide behind a fictional persona, more power to her. There are times when I'd like to be able to vent about my industry behind a false id.

I do think it is important that the one person/one account rule is maintained though...

I do have face time with other providers in Atlanta (as my stage name and even my real) but never as Alex. I seriously don't trust that my blog wouldn't become an issue that is ultimately used against me. And I do think I follow up. I find that at the very end of threads they sometimes don't even hit on the original subject. It is a little like playing telephone.
