What type of moderation do you feel is needed in upstate?

i would say some one that is impartial, non bias, sees the mod ship as a responsibility rather than power. one who will not try to use their responsibility to try to create the power they want. i agree with firm but fair, but is surprising how many truly do not understand the true nature of that statement. it always ends up going the opposite way then what it was intended to be. would like them to be in the background doing the mod thing, but also be active in the forms. it it is always easier to be advised or corrected by some one you are familiar with, instead of some one that is hidden and you do not know. those are some general points. i had just about a whole book written in response to the questions, but i figured i would save you guys the reading lol. if any would want i could explain my thoughts a little deeper in the matter.

In all due respect, I throw that question out for both of you.

I believe that a mod Should take this kind of commentary to a new thread, instead of taking an excellent thread off track.

GP, as a member, I liked your perspective, insight and humor. As a mod, not so much. You lost something when you became a mod. Try to come back to who you are (or were), please.

GMan, Good luck to you in restoring this forum to a true information exchange (male and female) instead of the Miami Dolphins locker room......we need someone who is strong enough to coach and guide everyone when things start going off track. Not join in the nonsense. From my years around here, I think that you are a good choice to help everyone out.

Of all the mods that I have experienced between ASPD and ECCIE, Jack was the best. Always the voice of reason, experience and a gentlemanly manner.

As always, just my opinion.

I don't think this is that far off track, as it pertains to what you guys would like to see or not see. queue OSD hates GP comment lol

I also share the sentiment about Jack. He was able to deal with me lol

Gp is doing a nice job, hes got some haters that will go out of their way to push the envelope we all know who one in particular is.

?????????????????????????????? ?????????
I am one of the original founding members of the GOBC and a current member, and I don't remember ever meeting GP. Of course with all the handle changes here, who knows? Maybe GP is Paul in disguise?
