Maybe she's REALLY new at this business. From that perspective, it can all seem a bit scary, I'd imagine. It take a lot of courage to be a provider, and in doing this kind of business, they want to feel as secure as possible.
But on the other end of this, the hobbyist end, the right of privacy and discretion is highly important. The thought of one's RL info just...sitting there, shouldn't sit well with anyone, male or female. This goes beyond reasons of getting caught (wife, SO, or LE...wife may wanna know why this 'woman' has so much info about you), but we're talking potential IDENTITY THEFT, too.
If you have a fat bank account, are connected to a lot of important people, or anything, you don't want just floating around out there like a kite. Even if as a provider you don't PLAN on ever going BSC (that's bat shit crazy, for those who've never seen it before) and using the info to exploit or expose, a hacker may feel otherwise.
It's hard enough as it is to protect your own info. Why chance someone else being careless with it?? Once a provider has decided to go BSC, all her promises of keeping your info safe (or not destroying it) are likely gone out the window.
And oh, yeah. For ladies that ask for RL info from guys...can we have YOURS, too? Show me yours and I'll show you mine.
