Does a tip or gift do anything for the client?

So how many providers are gonna say "why no sir bringing gifts or leaving tips doesn't do a thing, he should just bring me the rate I ask for and be done with it" lol.

Should the guys that tip "expect" extras (time, activities ect ect) for tipping because in my opinion if you tip it's to show appreciation not to gain favoritism. How many of you guys tip so that you can get extras? How would you providers react if a client that tipped started asking for more time or activities or for you to "hang out"?

Not that all providers are this way but it's been my experience that when I tipped it made no difference once so ever. In fact the ones I tipped started expecting it and asking me for "help".

Does not tipping or bringing gifts make providers think a client is a "cheap ass"? Originally Posted by Eccie Addict

I am a cheap ass. I seldom tip on a first date, but I will bring the tip for the EXCEPTIONAL service with the fee for the following date.

I guess I am arrogant as well, I consider repeat visits as a form of tipping.

Am I wrong, tipping is for exceptional service? That said, what constitutes exceptional service? (I know this is a topic for another thread.)

If your doctor SUCKS YOU OFF, then yeah I would say that might deserve a tip. lmao Originally Posted by Jessy Stone

I felt like I should have left a tip.
In all fairness,

Just as there are things that will make Gents not want to return to a lady. There is a list of things that will keep you from being a regular visitor of mine. So the tipping has little to do with that.

I'm sure there are ladies who if the guy tips enough will put up with bad behavior and what not. I am not one of them.

I may just be reading your inquiry all wrong Eccie Addict.

As for attorney's I hear they fuck every one. Nothing special there.
I'm just saying , here lately a guy is more likely to show up a little short on cash then he is to show up with a potential tip in his pocket.

+1 Topsgt, especially the first time, like altcomedy said it puts the lady at ease, plus it gets things off to a great start !!
It doesn't have to be anything expensive, hell pick some flowers out of the neighbors yard on the way Originally Posted by Sweet N Little

Now jessy if guys show up short on cash then I'd day they are cheap asses and deserve to be treated as such. People make mistakes. It only happened once but my ass actually left the house without money or any way to get money and didn't realize it till I was close. She said come on anyway and I took care of her the next day. But showing up short is crap.

I agree lawyers do fuck everyone lol. Quite a few doctors do too so my examples sucked but that's all they were was examples

IMO definitions of cheap would be....

1) haggling rates

2) only seeing you when you run specials

3) always abusing your time and never conpensating you on it in any way

4) expecting to be grandfathered when you up your rates

5) expecting to only have to pay your "special" rate even when they've always paid regular rates

I'm sure there's plenty more. I think that if a guy chooses not to tip or simply can't afford to tip should not put him in the "cheap" catagory. Sometimes guys decide not to tip based on being taken advantage of each time they did. What's wrong with a guy deciding he doesn't want to go down that road anymore.....

Just my opinion and we all know what they say about those lol.

On the other hand, these days in the hobby you can't count on any tip at all. More often then not, the hobbyist will come with only the exact amount in hand.

I find this a "CHEAP ASS" behavior. And yeah I will consider him a "blue light shopper". Because he is not even prepared to tip no matter what service he gets. I understand not taking your whole paycheck in, but really. Originally Posted by Jessy Stone

You ladies are in the enviable position of setting your own rates, just as any self-employed professional is. If you want to make more money, raise your rates or generate more business. Any business in operation from the largest to the smallest operates exactly the same. The free-market will decide for you where the sweet spot is for your level of service.

But to call everyone that does not tip a cheap-ass is pretty short-sighted as a marketing campaign, in my opinion (every post you make here is marketing). EA and I caught it and I promise you lots of others did as well. Of course, it is YOUR business to run in any way you see fit.

If he stays longer, it isn't really a tip is it? Don't get me wrong, I don't rush anyone out the door. With that being said, a guy knows when an hour is up. I don't discuss money at that point. They throw a little extra on the desk bacause they know they are paying for my time.

Just my 2 cents. Originally Posted by heidilynnla

I'm assuming that you're saying that you do more than what you advertise or what's in your reviews if you get a tip?
