I've been trying to tell you a Democrat President and a GOP controlled House is the best combination concerning spending and debt. It is the only time Republicans care about spending. You do have more Republicans who are truly concerned about spending and the deficit than Democrats. A Democratic president is going to be more likely to veto pork proposed by Republicans and vice versa.

The only time si called conservative care about the debt is when a Democrat is President.
Here is what happens....the tea nut like so called conservatives call for cuts to social programs the only way the President will agree is to also cut wasteful military spending.
Once a Republican is elected he cries about the military "cuts" and Congress , any Congress sees its chance to increase spending....if the House is led by Republicans they increase military spending...if led by Democrats, they increase both military and social spending.
Just a big stupid came that Tea Nuts are too fucking stupid to see how they are continually used.
