Well the good citizens of Kentucky just got their notice of insurance premium increases:
Humana actuary Nick Mueller today confirmed the Kentucky Department of Insurance has approved ObamaCare health premiums very close to the eighty percent increase he requested in June.

The American public supported the cost of the Iraq war; the same can't be said of Obamacare. Originally Posted by Whirlaway

He actually wrote that. It's in one of his 20,000 posts.

"After extending health care coverage to many of its part-time employees for years, Trader Joe's has told workers who log fewer than 30 hours a week that they will need to find insurance on the Obamacare exchanges next year, according to a confidential memo from the grocer's chief executive.

"In the memo to staff dated Aug. 30, Trader Joe's CEO Dan Bane said the company will cut part-timers a check for $500 in January and help guide them toward finding a new plan under the Affordable Care Act. The company will continue to offer health coverage to workers who carry 30 hours or more on average....

"Trader Joe's has won kudos for offering its health care, dental and vision plans to part-time workers at a reasonable price -- a rarity in an industry known for low pay and scant benefits. But with low-wage workers eligible for tax subsidies to buy health insurance next year, the company has apparently calculated that offering medical coverage to part-timers who work 18 hours or more is no longer worth the cost."

plus free medical care for millions more illegals under the immigration amnesty lie. Sure, it makes absolutely perfect sense how everything should cost less... Originally Posted by EXTXOILMAN

Under the current system unhealthy people can not get health insurance on their own( pre-existing conditions), unless you can get it where you work under your company's group plan with the insurer. Unhealthy people need health insurance too.

Why do you think health insurance companies like United Health Care and Aetna are not offering health insurance through the government exchanges. They don't want to take the risk of insuring unhealthy people, despite the fact that millions are expected to sign up at the government exchanges and pay premiums.

"That's easy, people have been blinded by the media. They've been spoon fed the notion that any thing worth doing must be done by government." When you say blinded you certainly were not talking about "loss of eyesight". You blamed Ron Paul's loss to Mitt in the republican primaries to the MEDIA. COF, you put your foot in your mouth and you can't get it out. You lose this one professor.
