drunken posts! the most honest of times!

Some of the best posts in the history of ever have been drunken posts. I remember they were threatening to install a breath-a-lyzer on The Party Princess' PC because she was already on her 5th PWI. Gawd she wuz funny when she'd get her 4:00am drunk-azzed posts on.

Britney hun, when you do find a guy of interest, you've got to be honest with him. Yeah it sucks --on many different levels and for many different reasons. But the bottom line is that if there's ever going to be a chance for a relationship to succeed, it's got to be built on a good foundation.

Lies/lies by omission only compound and create more problems.

It's a difficult position a provider finds herself in situations like this...

Good luck Britney, there's guys out there who will accept you for who you are, support you --regardless your choice of profession , and will respect you for the woman that you are. They're out there and they deserve honesty. You might be surprised by the happiness you receive in return,

All the best,
SKF

Sofa King beat me to it. Everyone, male or female , who plays in this world, has sat back and thought about how this lifestyle has affected each of us in the civilian world.

There is someone for everyone, I think and hope, I too am in a similar boat; I have yet to find someone in my life; yet it is so much easier from the male standpoint.

Honesty with yourself and honesty with your prospective partner is the absolute key.

Is it easy? Nothing in life is easy, but the patience of searching with honesty is a great reward coming.

My very best wishes to you.......

On a side note, I agree with Sofa King, I have noticed the drunken posts are the one time the ladies and the gentlemen usually come together in this forum to politely discuss and help each other.

We should require each member to pick a day and time, get drunk and start tapping the keys.......lol

BritneyBangs,

I dated an escort. Great gal and I will always cherish the times. You can certainly find a person worthy of being with you.

Certainly will agree that dating an escort is not something every potential dating partner is going to tolerate. But your profession does not define U, and the person that reciprocates your desire for a relationship is seeing you for you, and likes it. Be honest with your partner, but that goes for any relationship.

Take care and Good Luck!

As one told me before we met one time, " I can always use a good friend ". She was not only an escort but also married. Life happened and i lost track of Her. i really miss Her too.

I know people should refrain from posting while intoxicated but I just can't help myself. So a few things I've always wanted to know.

Britney,

I have no qualm about you posting drunk.

However - if you're serious in obtaining and rationally processing a cogent answer, I'd prefer you read my response when you're sober, and preferably not hung over.

I don't think you'd actually get much out of it while drunk, for the very reasons stated in the above-mentioned article(alcohol affects concentration in ways we are only starting to understand).

Please let me know when you *are* in a sober, non-hangover-laden state, and I'll be happy to reply.

One could presume that some 17 hours later (her post at 02:00 and yours at 21:36) that she's probably sober and past any hangover...unless one assumes she just kept drinking LOL

Well...since her start of this thread she hasn't posted any more on this thread(or on any other - search confirmed that), so I have no idea what condition she is currently in.

From that article I recommended:

Hello all. Yes I was hung over which is why I have not responded! I am not the type to drink much...thank god! Cup of java, nice to see you post. I had a similiar experience a couple of years ago, which is why I don't bother trying to date while providing. I was just a dancer back then. I know several providers that date or are in relationships with hobbyist and it seems to be fine and dandy for them. I didn't have any particular guy in mind to date. I am just way too introspective at times, drunked times especially! I wouldn't be dishonest with a civilian if it came to a dating scenario. It has been my experience that the guys I have met that I tell what I do are excited because of the potential "easy score" but they are also disgusted. Basically, I am a good girl to take home for a night, but not one you take home to mom, in these guys eyes. I have never had an open relationship, but I would be open to try it. At any rate, dating is sort of on the back burner because I have too many things going on like school, providing, running my own business, family etc. It doesn't leave much time for romance! Although, I am human and get lonely for companionship or a great fuck buddy, on my terms. Which brings up another topic; I wish there were more male escorts. I am jealous, you guys can call up any provider any time you like. Not so for us girls. Sure, I could just go out and bring a guy home, but I don't want to have to deal with him later lol! Maybe I think more like a man? Anyway, thanks for all the input guys and gals.

Most of the gals I know with SOs who are OK with what they do had some degree of an open relationship before the gal got into the hobby, or are just unusually open minded. The rest of them are dating guys they met as clients.

With any potential partner, you basically have to at least make sure he's OK with non-monogamy and sex-work before you tell him what you do. Like feel him out on the first couple of dates on a variety of sex and relationship topics to see how open minded he is. If he seems like the jealous type (which most men are) there is no point in pursuing a relationship unless you plan to retire.

You could try posting a personal ad that states explicitly that you're an escort. That way you can weed them out without ever having to deal with the awkwardness of bringing up your profession.

the only problem with posting a personal ad stating youre an escort. is that it brings unwanted suitors. guys who think, hmm, easy/ free pussy. im sorry to be so judgemental but its just the way us guys think
