Dinner date meet and greet?

I actually agree with you here. This info being left out made it sound like she didn't like meet and greets because the guys just wanted to see how she looked. BTW gotta love that Reya.

I have to agree with Gen here. If you are going to do a meet and greet with a provider don't tell her you are going to see her. Just be straight up. If you are not interested, let her know at the end of the dinner or drinks. I have had 5 meet and greets with providers and had sessions right after 3 of those times. The non session ones were because the providers had no interest in seeing me BCD but did want to meet me in person. We actually had drinks and got sloppy drunk and had fun. It can be a positive experience if you are straight up with your intentions...

For some, it's not all about the looks, though it is the major selling point to 'meet & greet' functions. It comes down to chemistry, which includes looks but varies on importance from one individual to another.

While it may not be everyone, there is definitely an appeal to it (a market!). It's a bit easier for the single guys and gals to be around town and not worry about SO finding out.

The whole point of the meet and greet is so us guys can see what a provider looks like before deciding to drop a couple of hundred bucks on a session. You shouldn't have been expecting BCD time. I especially liked the gym meet and greet suggestion. If both parties are going to work out anyways, why not do it at the same gym, at the same time, and kill 2 birds with 1 stone? I am planning a dinner in a couple of weeks with someone that is gonna take a more traditional (non-hobby) approach to wooing... slowly, patiently... as a friend recently said, it may take a few hours, days, weeks, months... I have never been BCD with this girl, and she is not ready to go P4P (not GFE), although I know that she is somewhat intrigued by the possibilities. Providers do get lonely too or like to talk to someone and not hide what they do for a living. I am sure they have friends of course but how many of us can talk to our real world friends and talk about the hobby, etc.

Sixx is completely correct ... I (we, my SO and I) sometimes have a nice dinner with a potential playmate... just to see if the chemistry is right. Usually it works okay and BCD follows, but not always..
