So while we're talking about costumes, what's the best website for ordering one?

With the Carmen Miranda one, I had a tailor sew the skirt and top for me. I didn't go to a costume store. And then I went and got an oatmeal box and hotglued plastic fruit, etc., on it and used the same fabric (from the skirt and top) as a tie-down.

I've looked on ebay for the Friar Tuck outfit. There are tacky ones and good ones. The better ones are, obviously, more expensive. You could probably find a GOOD nun outfit on ebay, instead of the costume stores around town.

If you have an idea for a custom, there are tailors and patterns you can find that will yield a better costume. Or just take a trip to JoAnne's (I think that's the name of the fabric store that's around). Ideas are there all over the place.

Good luck!

Hugs,
Elisabeth
EW, spot on and she made the costume herself. Of course the red room already looks like "another realm" cave. It was very easy to get into the role play at the Convent of The Twisted Sisters.

Gregorian Chants? Oh wow. Something that I need to consider when the candles are going and there is incense. At any rate, I'm almost jealous. Almost. Of course, I still have that Friar Tuck thing going.

I think that I have a new idea for the crucifix. And no, it's not THAT!

Lacey just LOOKS like she would be completely comfortable dressed at an iconic nun. She is so elegant. I would love to meet her some day!

Wow. What a treat for you!!! Thanks for sharing.

Not sure about men's costumes...I saw a few at Condom Sense yesterday, though

Trashy Lingerie is a GREAT site! Wow. Thanks for sharing that!!!

Hugs.
Locally for costumes check out Electrique Boutique. Also Condom Sense on Greenvile (those two stores are very close to one another on Greenville). There's also another store, the name is escaping me at the moment, but they have locations on 75 @ Beltline and 635/Old Denton Drive. And the seasonal Halloween stores have a lot of to try on as well.

Most of these are going to have the same costumes from the same manufacturer in the same plastic bag. Good enough for a wearing or three, but not meant to really last beyond the tricking season.

Don't forget the upcoming Dallas Fetish Ball - two days of fun-filled, latex and leather clad vixen running around in a bar. Oops! Was that your bottom I pinched?

Wow,
You know, if the floss the dentist gave me came in a package like that. . . I might actually use it more.
I'm looking for a brass pole costume if anyone knows where I can get one.I'm thinking it would be at leastas much fun in the at strip club as a Ben Franklin costume.

You know, this "costume" might work with the right type of underneath covering and some of that Halloween spider web stuff. But wouldn't that material she has just itch???
