Poll

This is getting quite sad. Just go on over to the national political forum and get your validation nationally. JS. There is a larger crowd of people responding there. Here in Houston it seems 80/20 with the majority against. Originally Posted by arañanegra

Even though I’ve posted in political threads in this forum, I’m gonna say no. They shouldn’t be here. There’s a main forum for politics, and they go pretty hard over there.

Dear_John, what say you? dont worry about hurting my feelings. i am quite the jaded hobbyist as things stand. too many awful list crawler dates, although finding the unicorn diamond in the rough makes it all totally worthwhile.. Originally Posted by pxmcc

And the context of that drug doesn't matter, but because I dared mentioned it I'm open to getting a 10 pointer. I'm not selling it, pimping it, not saying let's all come over to the house and have a party with it, no I'm posting in the context of how many thousands of people it kills by allowing our borders to be wide open. I can't mention the gross degradation of our current society and the protecting of shemales and what happened in Loundon county Virginia.

So because the board staff won't allow open debate, I could care less where people debate their political viewpoints. I've had to debate using only a partial viewpoint of my feelings on several matters. I've basically stood alone on the conservative side with conservative values while the fantastic four had at me. I understand there are rules written for a reason, however some of the rules need to be revisited as should be the execution of the rules and the issuing of infractions.

2 yesses 10 nos 2 undecideds. yesses are getting a good old shellacking..

the score is 1 yes, 6 nos, and one undecided. one of the 6 nos was anonymous, btw..

well i screwed up the format of the poll, and Dorian gave me some pro tips for which i thanked him. i will do better going forward, i promise..

you know, i'm not even sure if i know how to post pictures on this site. if i can do it by a paper-clip like on email, then i'm probably good. otherwise, prolly no..

in addition, Dorian thought i was using a passive aggressive approach to undermine Unique Carpenter's decision. but actually if and when i call out a mod, there's nothing passive whatever about my approach. my diplomacy has substantial limits and, imo, some bans are totally worth it..

UC is an outstanding mod, as is Darth Maul. Darth Maul should show up more if he has the time, imo, but maybe he got tired of moderating napalm attacks and dropping into forest fires that are exactly .01% contained, which i can certainly understand..

so Michael, which way do you want to vote? fyi, the yesses are pretty much hopelessly behind, so just vote your conscience, cause it's already a done deal. the yesses will lose the poll..

and i have no intention to try to overturn the poll results, and i won't be asking the U.S. military to seize anything.. Originally Posted by pxmcc

And of course I was just poking fun but you put together some rational arguments for a leftie so I pay attention to your posts every now and then, lol.

If he were alive, I wonder which way Alex K would vote?

This post approved by Mikey. Slightly off topic…nvm.

so i'm not arguing with UC; i think he's a standup mod and did a helluva job rooting out awful trolling. but..

i'd like to do a poll on who thinks political threads in the Sandbox are ok, and who thinks they're not appropriate.

i'm going to give 1 vote in favor of political topics in the kitty litter. what about ya'll?

again, this thread is in no way calling into question UC's decision. he has spoken, and that matter is already decided. just want to take the pulse of participants in the Sandbox to see if i'm way off base in my opinion.

the against group has 1 vote already by ara. lol..

score so far: 1 to 1. Originally Posted by pxmcc

I think the best vote would be no. Keep it in the National Forum. From reading the last few threads they quickly disintegrate into name calling which is absolutely uncalled for. Posters perhaps are not willing to post in the National forum because the thought process is that those moderators might not take too kindly to people calling others stupid. Perhaps if the discussions remained civil they would have been allowed but because of the name calling that seems to happen I think a no vote is appropriate and political discussions should go where they were designed to be.
So no it is, thanks Scrooge. Perhaps this will be the end of this thread too.

with Scrooge's vote, that makes 2 yesses, 12 nos, and 2 undecided. so the yesses officially got demolished..
