Sooo..... how about all those shootings that gun free zones stopped... let's look at the real numbers.

So YOU are ok with the government interfering in your life. You don't believe in personal responsibility for one's actions either .Does that include when they intrude into YOUR bedroom ? Why not move to North Korea where the "Dear Leader" will " take care " of your weak, indecisive ass. Take woomby with you. He's a big proponent of socialism . Originally Posted by Rey Lengua

Do you drive a car? Seat belts, air bags, collision resistant bumpers. Safety glass. All this due to "government interference". We are told by government when we can turn without stopping, what speeds to go, where to park, etc.

Do you pay taxes? Again, government interference in our everyday lives.

We are told by government that we must attend school for a certain number of years.

All in all, I go through my day with very little impact on my daily life by the government. Nothing I can't live with. But I tend to look at the big picture and not worry about minor inconveniences. This is the greatest country in the world. BTW, to compare the U.S. to North Korea shows just a little bit of ignorance.

You would be up in arms if you were told when, where and what you could talk about.

Do you pay taxes? Again, government interference in our everyday lives. There are many who would argue that taxation is unconstitutional.

Irrelevant whether or not you agree or disagree with the gun control laws. They are there.

Whether or not taxation is constitutional or not is also irrelevant. It is there and it will always be there. It is a small price to pay to live in the greatest country in the world. I am in a rather high tax bracket and I don't complain that others are paying nothing or very little.

I sincerely doubt that I live my life any more sheep like than you do. You and others seem to believe that there are major hindrances imposed by government that impact our abilities to live our lives as we would like to. Simply isn't true in my opinion.
