Stallion question

Here's one for everybody. Believe it or not, the word "cock" at one time referred to a pussy and not a dick*. And that's no bullshit.

I have NEVER heard that definition of cock before and that's not to say it isn't true. Doesn't sound quite right, does it? VERY interesting, though.

It's true. I remember seeing my first Hustler at my cousin's house. She had some red dildo around her pussy. And he says, "Yea man, look at that fat ass cock!"

Again, these things are cultural. It's not that they're dumb or wrong. They just are.

Here's a prime example. If I said to anyone in the US "My marriage/business is on the rocks.", you would automatically infer that said marriage/business is in trouble.

But that wouldn't be the case if I used that same idiom while speaking with someone in te Middle East or certain African nations, because to them a rock is a symbol of strength and dependability.

For centuries, "cock" was slang for "penis" because it was derived from the Latin word for "rooster". And not just in English. The French word "coq" also refers to a rooster.

But for a 20 year period in the early 1900, the term was apparently misused by blacks in the south. So, that means that cock also legitimately means pussy? I think we can all disregard that misuse.

I had the same thought ...
Maybe it was when the Strap On Dildo became popular? ...
