The writer John Steinbeck opining on turning 50 mused that as he was looking in the mirror, saw a man with a large saggy tummy where his flat belly used to be, a craggy and saggy face with bags under his eyes.
Ever the optimist he went on to say that although he was at an advanced age, he found he could consume much larger amounts of Scotch and wake up without a hangover. He then went on to burst his own bubble by saying that perhaps that was because he drank better Scotch given that he was making a lot more money.
So, if you are making more money as you get older, just party with more ladies, and be sure to drink more expensive Scotch...
