If someone can pay you money and "fake enjoying being with" you, then why can't you take their money and "fake enjoying being with" them?
As a "professional" we don't always have the luxury of "enjoying being with" our customers, but we still perform our obligations for which they hired us or sought our services at the same level and keep our lack of enthusiasm for them personally to ourselves.
You said something, perhaps unwittingly, that may have been the CAUSE of the negative "vibes" you were getting in return. Here:
