Actually, you just made IB's argument stronger. Sexual and social mores have loosened up enormously since Lincoln's time. So if you consider the two remarks (by Trump and Lincoln) to be equally shocking and vulgar by today's standards, then Lincoln looks ten times more scandalous and over the top for his own day and age.

even in the past 100 years (it should probably be way more recent, like 20-40), proves pretty conclusively that we haven't "loosened up" a lot on this since Lincolns days.
And it's pathetic for you to pretend to make a point by positing something Trump never said. Of course you toss it out there because you want others to think he COULD have said it, being a racist and all. Don't think we don't see what you're doing.
Obviously, you don't see what I am doing. I was using a typical rhetorical tool known as "reductio ad absurdum." I choose something so ridiculous that I knew no one would agree with and then just applied his logic to it, to show you how terrible the logic actually is. It had nothing to do with trying to paint Trump as a racist. He does a plenty good job of that himself. He doesn't need my help.
Speaking of childish - Obama is the one who acts like a “petulant child” whenever he doesn't get his way. Even after 7 years in office, he hasn't matured to the point where he understands it's not only un-Presidential, but counter-productive to bitch and moan all the time at news conferences.
And yet, in that 7 years, he hasn't done anything even remotely as childish as bragging about penis size in public for no good reason.
