Strip Clubs from the Past

Anybody remember the Landing Strip on Lovers Lane? Anybody remember Jade East who worked the strip club circuit back in those days? We were a "thing" for awhile. Broke me in right. Remember her best friend and Dallas comedy dancer Lulu Roman (later of Hee Haw)? Those were fun days. The girls actually started out fully dressed. LOL.
I know it wasnt the best place, but who can forget the first club. My friends took me out to Showcase II off Golden triangle in north fort worth for my 18th birthday. And I've been getting lap dances ever since Originally Posted by arlington1234

Our waitress was missing a few teefahs if I recall correctly, and the hardleg to stripper ratio was not very friendly. The only worse place I have ever been is some dive in Kennedale.

But, back in the day when I blew money regularly in SC's I haunted the Penthouse Key Club. Tons of smoking hot girls and lots of naughty fun to be had it you could find your way upstairs. I think it got closed due to prostitution charges years ago and is called something else now.
WOW..lol I don't remember the 90's and SC... i better not atleast..lol but the first club that i ever worked in was 9 years ago and it was Hardbodies off 360 in Arlington. When i first started there i was nerves and had to have a couple shots b4 i got up there, Kitty (who is still there) was my BFF and were ever she was i was there to. I had a blast and will never forget the time i spent there.

I will never forget the night that they did the Pay Per View special of the dance off thing , it ws judged by Ron Jeramey Mr. Marcus and a lady Spelling or something or other, anyway i ended up on the judges table with Mr.Marcus giving me all the digits he could with a camera in my face...lol they picked on me for weeks afterwords.

Funny thing is i never watched the video i sure wish i had. I would love to find out how to look it up.
I spent lots of time at the VU, TSC and SF, waisted lots of time and money but had some times. Met the girls in the avatar from these clubs

Also does anyone remember a club I think called Players just east of the old Baby Dolls on NW hwy. It wasn't around very long in the early '90's.

My best memories include the old Deja Vu on NW Hwy. and Fantasy Ranch off 360 in Arlington. There were some incredibly wicked ladies that worked there over the years. Loved the dark corners at the Ranch!

My all time fav was Lace, because you could see all the stages at one time, and the girls were usually good looking. Fantasy Ranch was neat because I had worked there in costume when it was a restaurant (Like magic time machine).

My buddy and I were reminiscing about clubs we miss from the early to mid 90s and what we liked about them.

The Fare on Greenville was my first strip club experience. It always seemed like there was a hundred girls dancing. That place was packed all the time, sometimes standing room only.

The old Baby Dolls on NW Hwy. provided lots of fun memories. Remember the section with the tall chairs in the back corner near the pool tables.

I even remember getting a real table dance at Legends in Arlington. They danced nude on your table.

Caligula seemed to have a steady stream porn stars. I checked the newspaper every week to see who was dancing. I still have a picture of me and Tori Wells, she was my favorite back then.

You can't forget TSG and thoes private booths.

What clubs do you miss? Originally Posted by albatross1

Worth called Buck's Cabaret but Sadly it will not be another ShowGirls, He mainly builds clubs to sell now I am currently doing onsite security for a new Rick's Cabaret we are building from the looks of the Lighting and Sound system it's going to be badass if the DJ is any good.
P.S. to the Providers that worked at Texas ShowGirls you will remember me as I repaired just about everything there, and still have ALL the pictures I took of you!!!

The Busy Bee! The last burlesque house in town (until recent revival). A comedian/MC, followed by a singer, followed by the Headliner who stripped to g-string and pasties. All backed by a three piece band. Classic stuff. How I miss it.

Friends and I nearly got our asses kicked there by some marines in the crowd. No doubt we would have deserved it. Ended up drinking with them. I hope that such civility is still observed in the SC's.

Santa Fe Cabaret on NW HWY and Texas Showgirls = great times and memories!!! And a few pics.
Lace in Arlington was my favorite strip club for several years in the early to late 90's. I was sad to watch it decline and fall as it changed owners, struggled against growing competition, and was probably mis-managed by Burch.

The club itself was unremarkable, buy my ATF bartender - Eleana - and ATF dancer worked there.
