The only reason people oppose voter ID is because they think illegal voters will be supporting their side. If they spent one-tenth of the money, time energy they put into arguing against voter ID into actually helping legal voters obtain the required ID, there would be no problem. All legal voters would have the proper ID. But having no voter ID law makes it easier for illegal votes to be cast. If that helps your side, you oppose voter ID. It's that simple.
