Furthermore, some facts from the USA Today...will only get worse under Camel-Toe, except for maybe inflation as it's coming down and likely Fed rate cuts may help pricing although they may be too little, too late, to prevent a recession.

The REAL threat to democracy is the willingness of the right to fabricate anything that brings attention to their agenda.

This thread is disgraceful and by the OPs admission is false. Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

It certainly isn't disgraceful to point out the facts - like in the previous post on facts from USA Today or do you think this is more MAGA lies? Considering that most of the main stream media, with a few exceptions, are on the left.

It's a prediction which has not been fulfilled. Doesn't mean it was incorrect at the time of the writing. He does have early onset dementia or some other condition which debilitates his mental acuteness...that's obvious to anyone who watches his movements and listens to him try to speak coherently.

Did it really free up delegates to go to Harris? AFAIK, those delegates were "charged" by the people to nominate Biden - no where did they go back to the people to have a revote. If Biden hadn't withdrawn (by force obviously from donors) prior to the convention, he would have been nominated. Originally Posted by r66

If god forbid Trump was killed during the first attempt the republican delegates would then be eligible to vote for any candidate they wanted to during their convention.

This narrative that there was a coup is simply nonsense. No one forced Biden to resign his candidacy. He did that all on his own. Was he convinced that it was best for the party and the country. Probably.

“Nonsense” is putting it lightly. Sadly there HAS to be blame or there’s no fundraising. Good thing no animals were harmed in the staging of their “coup.”

Tiny, Trump is not only a threat to democracy here but also worldwide. Just not in Hungary…

American democracy has lasted almost 250 years. The only realistic threat I see is a nuclear war, which takes us back to something like a feudal society. And that's pretty darn unlikely. But yes, the situation in Ukraine and Iran makes you wonder. I'd give the advantage to Trump in the way he'd handle Ukraine, and the advantage to Harris on Iran, assuming she follows in Obama's and Biden's footsteps.
