Two things:
1- It MUST BE sweeps week.
2- Local news ain't what it used to be.
So do sex workers get paid for their time or sex? Originally Posted by OneInAMillion

Tsk, tsk. As the founding member of the Texas chapter of SWOP I figured you'd know the stance of your own organization... Originally Posted by Wakeuр

Lets all play nice...shall we?

As far as the video goes, I find nothing special about it unless I can find the original youtube video. What else would be helpful is if I could understand the subtitles and comment bubbles...i need a translator LOL!

To me, as long as it is said nicely I figured all the derogatory terms all mean the same thing. The only one I will not acknowledge is being called a "street walker" or "street whore". I am certainly not either of those!
A east Houston bar Billarres Mexico#1 is what they are showing. It looks authentic, but I tried like hell to find the youtube video, and I think they may have taken it down. The news report says it was put up on youtube 5 months ago.

My question is, have any of you heard of this place? Been there? Just curious. If any of you have been there, do you now feel differently about patronizing such places?

Looks like that whore/prostitute/sex worker/Isis did her typical hit and run. GP, when did women start thinking they owned the word bitch? Men can be whores, prostitutes, sex workers and escorts, but they own gigalos! Watch out, gay men think they own bitch too.

I hadn't seen the video before I posted. It has a lot of faces of people supposedly in Houston on it. Until I hear from a mod that it is ok to post, you are on your own to find it.....sorry.

You're kidding right? Anyone can Google "Billares houston", click Videos and find this video right at the top...it's not like it's a secret...

I was surprised that this was the big news story - I know I saw this video months ago.

How strange, I had just stumbled across that youtube video independently yesterday. Anyway, I don't think the video was taken by a worker because a couple of times it's clear that the person with the video camera is paying "Rambo" for a session. In terms of translation you're not missing much. Most of the text says something like "here is the secret door", "condoms and lubricants are kept here", "this is xxxxx who is one of the operators", "this door is screwed shut if police arrive," etc.

Note: to those who haven't seen it the youtube video is much longer than the news story...and has less pixelation of faces...it's about 10 minutes long.
