I do not believe in forcing anybody to do anything they do not want to do.
The simple solution is to state that all players must be on the field during the national anthem or they cannot play that game.
They should stand in respect to the flag and our national anthem and if they choose not to do that they will not be permitted to play in that game.
For both failures on their part, they will not be paid for that game and their salary for that game forfeited to Camp Hope or wounded warriors.
Nobody forcing them to do anything they do not want to do as they get to choose their own path in the matter.
Did I ever tell you about the time I was profiled and pulled over by a black cop without cause. His claim was that I ran a stop sign which was not true. There was no way he could see from where he was if I stopped, which I did, or not. The big difference was that I had no fear of anything bad happening because I was respectful and I am not a thug. I argued with him respectfully and we came to an amicable agreement that I would take the ticket and be on my way and we could meet at a later date for punch and cookies.
