Shit, 10 million is a lot to leave on the table. 50/50 and it'll probably happen. I don't follow boxing very much. Has Mayweather fought anybody on Paquiao's level? I don't think cotto is in Paquiao's level, since he got his ass beaten?

I just want them to fight before they get too old. Hell I seem to remember another mega fight with Marvin Hagler and Sugar Ray Lenard but they fought a little past there prime. Lets hope this one doesn't do the same.

Pacquiao has never gotten the kinda money he would get fighting Mayweather. The reason is because he isn't the biggest draw in boxing. I'm not a big boxing fan by an means, as someone looking at the outside in, I agree with this take on the situation 1000%

But from what I see, these guys don't have to fight each other, they can just keep fighting other guys and do 1.5 million PPV buys each fight. If they fight each other, they will break the PPV record (which is over 2 million PPV buys). But if they fight, the loser of that fight will not be as popular, so he won't get that guaranteed 1.5 million buys in his next fight. So I can see why they wouldn't want to fight each other, they'd be potentially making more money in the long run, as odd as that sounds.

It's too bad win and loses mean so much in this sport, otherwise this fight would have happened years ago.
