Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution sets three qualifications for holding the presidency. To serve as president, one must:
be a natural-born U.S. citizen of the United States;
be at least 35 years old;
be a resident in the United States for at least 14 years.
Kamala Harris is over 35. She's lived in the US all her life.
She was born on October 20, 1964, in Oakland, California.
While the Constitution has a pretty big hole in it in that it doesn't define "natural-born citizen", there's absolutely no doubt in case law that if you're born in the continental US, you're a natural-born US citizen.
Your parents do not need to be US citizens; in fact, we've had seven presidents whose had at least one parent who wasn't a natural-born US citizen:
Andrew Jackson
James Buchanan
Chester A. Arthur
Woodrow Wilson
Herbert Hoover
Barack Obama
Donald Trump
YUP. Donald Trump's mom was born in Scotland and didn't become a US citizen until 1942, when she became a naturalized citizen.
