More than a few years back, I met a guy who purchased the car wash at Paseo and Truman Road. He spoke of taken over the place and changing most of his workers because of the conditions of some shady things going on as people rode together through the car wash. He also told me that a big part of the business was the constant flow of police vehicles that were on a contract to use the car wash.

He didn't think that the two activities went well together. I haven't talked to him in years; I heard that once he cleaned up the operation, he flipped the business.
