You're asking a WAY bigger question than you think with this one. I suggest staying for a few days so you can hit several spots. Top contenders would be Gates, Arthur Bryants, Jack Stack and LC's. Btw, you haven't missed the American Royal BBQ. It's at the end of September.

Ok I just lost 10 minutes of my life that I wont get back. This reminds me of some 3rd grade gossip; some things never change. Re the BBQ Jack Stack rocks the house. I love their cheesy corn. But I think the best ribs are from Zarda.

Something different you might try
is a smoked cheesburger from Wyandotte.
Does not really look done because it's
pink but the color is because it is smoked.
unique for sure.
