What is the right way to have a birthday in the hobby?

I am really looking forward to the big party that just happens to closely coincide with my birthday. I'm looking forward to a great time, and that isn't the only thing I've got planned. If I have it my way I will be carried in to the party, exhausted but wearing a great big smile.
