My statement of the people you surround yourself with was in regards to the hobby. If the girl in question has been a regular for him for some time and is trying to screw him over then he should be able to tell that if he can't and gets himself in a bad situation then he's bad at judging character. One thing I realized about condoms is they're "evidence" of sex. There's the wrapper and the condom itself. Yes, they can be flushed, but the unused ones kept in the car/wallet are "evidence" to an SO.
