A society shall not be judged by the way it treats it's best citizens, but by the way it treats its worst citizens.
That is not to say that Cosby is the WORST, because in all fairness to Cosby he has not been prosecuted consistent with the dictates of the Christian ethic and standard of one's innocence until proven guilty consistent with the Due Process standards in this country for 100's of years.
The settlement of civil claims is not an admission of guilt of any underlying criminal allegation and I don't recall ever seeing a final settlement agreement without a provision in it that clearly states that nothing contained in it is an admission of guilt. When "the law" changes so will settlements. For the worst.
