That was Part 1. And was it a red Eclipse, or a red Ford Probe? There are still posts regarding the latter I found via Google Groups.

She's back in the northeast, working in the distribution industry, sport-fucking guys half her age.

The names of Dallas girls mentioned in this thread and in that D article I never heard of.

I was in Houston back then.

I did go to a lot of modeling studios in Houston, went to strip clubs and also get girls from Houston Press classified which was the equivalent of Dallas Observer.

I remember one girl at a modeling studio in the Galleria: Jennifer.

She was so beautiful and the kind you want to take home to meet your family.

First time I met her I couldn't believe she was a hooker.

Back then we didn't call them Providers: we called them hookers, prostitutes, call girls, escort girls.

Also back in those days you went to dance clubs and you meet a girl, buy her drinks, dance with her, make small talk, and you would get a one night stand.

There was none of that you got pay her $ for her time.

That was something the "professional girls" did.

No need for elaborate digital setup and persona and swipe right or left or snap or tweet.

Girls nowadays, many won't even give you the time of the day unless you pay them $ to meet.

Just look at sites like Seeking Arrangements.

Girls asking $100s just to meet for lunch: many guys will pay for that - I won't.

Many of them are not "professionals"

Don't know when did girls learned to do that and started doing that.

Don't people no longer talk to each other without any money or material things involved?

When as a society did we become that way?

Found a reference to an Allison in a red Eclipse here:

Also mentioned was Stephanie. Both names kinda sorta ring a bell.

Regarding DOS, I can’t emphasize enough how revolutionsrbthe TSML seemed to those of us on it. We’d gone in a few years from spas way out on Preston, or combing through yellow pages while on the road; to briefly, Usenet a.s.p and a.s.p.d threaded discussion; and then, within a year or two, we siddenlynwake up with 3 to twelve email in our body email box per day with a private discussion group that mostly covered Dallas, but also encompasses other Texas cities. And we’d post out hobby email addresses, so if I had a question, or wanted an introduction to a gal, you just pop RandyOne an email. Voila, it’s done.

I think that was perhaps, at least fir me, the high point of the hobby. We were sure enough in high voting then.

But I also seem to recall that DOS ran the list through the server at his workplace, and somehow got busted doing that? Or am I conflating him/TMSL with another episode? But whoever it was became a real object lesson in not to shit where you eat. I became a lot more careful where I stored messages and how I accessed them.

And we all — or mostly — had anxxxxx@anon.fi e-mail addresses then. Look it up!! Another interesting episode in internet history. Premitive Security by today’s standards, but we were msybe not on the cutting edge, but way ahead of the curve on internet privacy in the hobby back then, especially compared to now.

I can still see the value in something such as this among a small group of like-minded guys. But all of the backchannel communications I've heard of over the years were pretty much one-to-one.
CRAZY - so the 2nd post in that thread was my review. April 1, 1996. "Very Good Times in Dallas, Texas" I was MrG back then, changed to Revman when ASPD started. It got me totally into Stephanie, she was the perfect body and open mindedness I was looking for (we had many amazing times!). Her friend Allison was a very cute, skinny legs, tall, hottie, my only issue with her, no matter how good you got to know her, she didn't ever actually warm up, no IOP. I stuck with Stephanie. From that post I was contacted by DOS to be invited into TSML. Seems I remember a guy named Dylan that was instrumental in TSML? Anyone on this. I have such patchy memory, and so many of the girls I've seen over the past 25+ years, I struggle remembering who/when. Awesome when the many of y'all post memories and bring up names and situations that spark memory of a particular girl that I would have otherwise forgotten. ASPD archives needed! LOL!

I remember seeing so many of the girls mentioned in this "walk thru memory lane" thread. I did know Diana, but never saw her. I did visit so many of those mentioned, even a couple of them I saw quite regularly....like Bettina Butts (she was 1 ass fuck extraordinaire) I actually ended up using the pool builder she used and recommended, Teri Brice, Chelsea (obsession), TabithaToy, and even Renee of Indiana. Renee special back story - I had a business client in Chicago I visited about 2x per month, and she would drive to meet me in the South Bend, Indiana area, we'd get dinner together at some cook your own steak restaurant, and back to the hotel where she would be my tasty little submissive dessert. Great details and memories of those days of lore - I would have never thought my first great Harry Hines car date post could be found and posted. Thanks!!
WTF you were MR. G? It would of been nice if everyone would of just used their old handles. damn son! next thing you know , Road King is going to appear!
Lol! Yep - that's me! I used to wear a unique Casio sports racing watch called the G-Shock Mr.G "Revman" so there you have the connection of MrG and Revman! LOL!

WOW, Road King now there was a legend and a man that could tell stories and write a review.

I don’t post a lot any more but Tin Man you inspired me. Plus, learning Revman is the infamous MrG. If The Fox comes out and plays in this thread that would be crazy.

ASPD in Dallas launched a whole new way of conducting business within our little hobby. My hobby days started mid 90’s. Before I discovered ASPD I went to AMP’s or used the Observer Thinking back, I was clearly only using the little brain. Those ads were the equivalent of playing Russian Roulette. On several occasions I had some scary moments.

Tin Man looking forward to future threads about your life in this crazy little world of ours.

I have not spoken to RK in about two years. This makes me want to call him and see how he is. My chronicles are almost done. I should be posting them next week.
