If you're going to spring for several hundred dollars and give her a head start on a wardrobe, then Kohl's, Penny's, etc. nay we'll be a great choice. And frankly, from what you describe if her situation, that sounds like what she needs. But if you're trying to get her something special as a so.urge, those aren't your best bets.She probably does need a lot of the basics. Whether they are sexy or not, she needs them and I want to help her because I care. The dress is probably not as big a priority.
I'd think that getting her some basic building blocks for an everyday wardrobe would be what you need to do. No idea of what that would cost, but I'd venture that $500 might be in the ballpark.
