Angry gentleman doesn't know how to research providers!

I'm not lazy, I am busy making money. I don't have unrealistic expectations, expectations are proportionate to my spending.

Thank you for the pro tip! Originally Posted by mjsw

Take your time, and take the time, for more than a little research and you will find quality women.

Find a woman you can work with, not one you can impress. You may impress the wrong people.

It is all about playing safe when one wants to walk on this side of the street.

Today I've invested 20 minutes of my time searching for an app but the only thing I could find is this one: apphoneypot.com. Doesn't seem very popular though.

Why aren't nerds developing apps for this hobby?! Originally Posted by mjsw

so let me get this straight, brainio.....you're unhappy with the information you get on a site like eccie, and you're unhappy with the resulting encounters....

so you want an app to make it more convenient......for you to get the same information and results?

My problem was not identifying ladies nearby, in fact I currently use a combination of websites I trust and they are perfectly up to the task, otherwise I would be dating any lady in the first place.

The real problem comes afterwards: "no matter how much research and experience I sometimes end up with providers that are definitely not what they were advertising".
I have put some thought into it and the problem lies in the reviews. One lady in particular has caught my attention. Following my review, a bad one given the fact that she was totally different from the pictures uploaded, she deleted her profile and made a new one. Same info, same pictures, same phone number.
Her next gentleman is going to face the same rip-off.

Usernames are useless, the proof lies in my example. To erase your history you simply need to delete you profile and create a brand new one.
The app I mentioned previously, Honeypot, at least tracks providers based on their phone number. Each and every review is assigned to the most valuable asset a provider has, her phone number.

Which one is harder to change? Your username or your phone number? You already know the answer. No algorithm is fool-proof but at least websites can get smarter. The architecture around this hobby is obsolete.

I can ask them specific questions that I am interested in beyond just the menu -- in almost real time across multiple providers that are currently advertising, and set something up very quickly. And I've gotten a very high hitrate of great sessions on short notice, especially as I've improved the questions I ask the other clients.

Problem is, there's only one site I know of that does that well, and it's LA-only -- and even it has issues and limitations. That's pretty much why I built my site.

Fling, that sounds like a good app, and perhaps they will expand it some day.

To the OP, the problem with apps is almost nobody is going to write a seriously good app unless they can figure out a way to monetize it first. And if you read enough here, you will find out that's not a easy proposition with this crowd, i.e., we are all a bunch of cheap fuckers.

Also, you do know that Yelp has an app version of their site, right? Guess what, you still have to read the reviews if you want to find a place for a good steak, or a decent plumber, etc. or do you just go to the place with the most stars?

So I'm hoping it's useful enough to make life in the rest of the country/world as easy as it is for me in LA.

Seriously, it's not even close. When I'm on the east coast I'm lucky if I can get a session (a great session, mind you, not just any session) with a few days notice. That's including the research it takes to find the right provider. In LA, same thing takes a few hours start to finish - and is even more likely to produce a fantastic time. That's not because the ladies there are easier or more numerous... It's because the social network has been set up in a more efficient way, and that's the job of the web app. So yeah... visit my site!

The problem, as you mention, is the monetization. I've put in an enormous amount of time (and quite a bit of money too) into building my site -- and I know I won't see a dime from it for a very long time (if indeed ever). So we shall see.

Here's the reason behind this poll:
In my life I've spent thousands on companions, but no matter how much research and experience I sometimes end up with providers that are definitely not what they were advertising (in both appearance and performance).

I hate to waste my time and money on fake providers, it is enraging. Therefore, how do you research new companions? Originally Posted by mjsw

That's a really good idea, however I don't have the time to m&g.
I need a fake-proof tool to search providers when I'm on the go.

The common denominator here is YOU.

No, there is no app or magic fool proof picker for you. LOL Read reviews on reputable sites such as ECCIE. Then take an average of the reviews. Are 25 out of 26 reviews positive? Do they state that the girl looks like her pics?

Do you have time to get Premium Access to read the ROS? Or do you just want to complain?

If you're that short on time, have your assistant book an appointment, and give you a review. Idk dude....
I use every source I can to get good beta. You get used to reading reviews and service descriptions, which helps weed out the ones you aren't going to like. Even then, not every visit is better than the last. It is the nature of life that some experiences are once in a lifetime and most are, well, average. I try to look for the high points and if there are none, I just cross that provider off and move on.
