I actually bought a PS4 tonight and the game Battlefield 1, since I'm basically house bound for the next 8 weeks I thought it would be fun to do some gaming but I didn't like the game I'm just not very good like I used to be

I am about to embarrass myself as well as make myself feel old. I played and beat all of these:

First Game: Chrystal Caverns (text based game on a kit computer in the early 80's)
Sword of Fargoal (C64)
Oregon Trail, Leisure Suit Larry and a bunch of those type games.
Original Doom and Hexen
All the Heroes Quest games (beautiful artwork in those)
Myst
The ORIGINAL Elder Scrolls
Populous, the Beginning (one of the first 360 degree engine games)
All the Diablo games
Baldurs Gate
Fable 3
O-game (don't get excited-it was space exploration mmp game)
Infinity Blade (all 3) on the ipad...

Somewhere in there I found time for work, sleep and hobby.

I remember playing a text based game, it requires the use of imagination. I believe Zork is like that and might be the game that I am thinking of. Course I could be wrong too.
poor Mario he just wanted fix some Plumbing pipes ect.
pong and asteroids loved sitting in the bar with a beer on the table playing those two
Gamer from waaaay back - starting with Missile Command on the Atari 2600!

I really got into FPS games when they first came out, before they were even called that. Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, Unreal Tournament (my favorite from back then). More recently I also enjoyed Left 4 Dead.

I enjoy fantasy games and played Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Diablo, and others.

These days I do most of my gaming on a PS4 and my current obsession is Rocket League (soccer with rocket cars that can fly!)
My current favorite - Rocket League. SO much fun!

Ooh, I see Morrowind Online just came out on PSN. Now that is tempting. I played the hell out of Morrowind back in the day. In fact I think I've played all the Elder Scrolls games starting from Daggerfall onward.

I'm definitely getting Elite : Dangerous when it comes out for PS4 at the end of June. I love those space exploration/trading/fighting games and assuming it's good will help to ease the disappointment of buying No Man's Sky.
